This course consists of a range of core and specialist units that will provide an in-depth study of the travel and tourism sector.Functional Skills are a mandatory part of the course and you will be required to study either Maths, English or ICT which will be determined by your previous achievements in these subjects. You will study a range of units including:The UK travel and tourism sector
Introduction to the cruise sector
Exploring airports and airlines
Nature and the effects of world travel
Working as a holiday representative
You will also take part in the UK residential.
What does the course lead to?
This qualification can lead to job propsects in the travel and tourism sector, as well as progression to the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Travel and Tourism (available at the college).Entry requirements
At least two GCSE at grade C or above, including English or Maths, and others at grade D.Alternatively, a BTEC Level 1 qualification in a related subject would be accepted.
How much does it cost?
