The Programme
Discover the world and explore the opportunities of the travel industry. This course is designed for any student who wishes to pursue a career in this dynamic sector. The programme consists of a range of travel and tourism related units including cruise, overseas holidays, visitor attractions and exploring airlines and airports. These units are theoretically taught but do include visits and trips to support learning. In addition students will also have the opportunity to gain a Certificate in Resort Reps.

Entry Requirements
Preferably four GCSEs at grade D or above, including English.
Costs
There will be costs involved for educational visits and a residential (approximately £100)*. Please note that some trips are essential for successful completion of the course.

Progression
On successful completion of this programme students will be given an opportunity to continue their studies by progressing to the Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism (a Merit grade is required to progress). Alternatively, students will be supported to help gain employment in this dynamic and fast growing industry.
