Level 5 Tourism Management (International Tourism) Foundation Degree

The course is designed to benefit students who are looking for a senior management role in tourism management. This includes area such as travel operations, tour operations, public sector tourism and tourism development.

Students will study the following subjects:

Year 1

• Developing business skills
• Business finance
• International travel & tourism development
• Managing the service encounter
• Entrepreneurship
• Personal and professional development (including placement)

• Legal environment
• Responsible and cultural travel & tourism management
• Managing research & information
• Human resource management
• Management techniques

All of the tutors have excellent, in-depth knowledge from working in the tourism and aviation industry.

Students will need between 120 and 240 UCAS points from:

• BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma
• At least two 'A' Levels at 'A2' or Applied GCE/AVCE Double Award
• Advanced Diploma
• International Baccalaureate

Applications from students with a relevant NVQ Level 3 are welcome.
