"The A-levels department is an absolute joke, most people here are doing A-levels for 3-4 years purely because the teaching is inadequate. Some teachers are not qualified to teach some subjects, yet they are 'teaching' them anyway, (if you count copying from a book teaching) There is no support, various students have complained for years and been told 'you must not be revising enough' when revising is all we seem to be doing, but how can we revise when we don't know how much we are supposed to know or what we need for the exam.
The college also has a toilet issue, in which I mean they are caked in shit.
Literally it's on the walls.
You will need a jab to use the toilet here.
The food is overpriced, especially for students, But that doesn't matter anyway because the A-levels department have different lunchtimes compared to the rest of college, and by the time its lunch most of the food is packed away anyway.
Student union? You mean the portacabin round near the car park? that has one microwave a crowded xbox and a gang of chavs inside!
The college also doesn't tell you about health problems that are going around college. Like the small problem of fleas! Yes Fleas! Someone came in one day with fleas, and now their all over.
I'm sure the vocational courses are fine, it's just the A-level staff need a kick up the arse, it's not as if people are wanting to go to university and are counting on good grades!" - 05-03-2014 13:19

Providing for a local community is very important to us. However.
we are more than just a local college and we have strong links with
businesses, among the companies we work alongside are, Center
