Students are given the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
Course content
Students will study 60 credits over a one-year programme. The BTEC level 2 Diploma is equivalent to 4 GCSEs (A*-C).

Entry Requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs at grade D or above which include English or Mathematics. Alternatively a Level 1 Travel and Tourism qualification with Functional Skills English or Maths. A positive school or college reference which shows good levels of attendance and punctuality will also be required.
Delivery & Assessment methods
Skills and knowledge are developed through a portfolio of case studies, projects and work related scenarios.
Progression
BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism or directly into employment within the travel and tourism industry.
