Health care is meant to prevent illness and addresses many aspects of our daily life. It is concerned with our physical, psychological and social well-being. In the past hospitals and health care systems developed Healthcare Management, a discipline to lead, manage and administer health care institutions and employees, such as social workers, in order to provide a preferably complete coverage of care. The intention is to provide a network of many professionals in different fields, e.g. child care, psychology and first aid. The health & medicine training courses on Springest give you the opportunity to learn e.g. CPR in order to become a first aider and help the people around you.

"For all potential distance-learning trainees....ask 'Be a Better You' what the success/completion rate is BEFORE signing up. I'm registered with them and they refused to tell me when I asked. Enough said I think!" - Thu, 16 Mar 2017 13:46:57 +0000

"NEVER EVER GET INVOLVED WITH TUTORCARE.

These people are rob dogs and are just interested in the money they can TRAP you for!!

I was harassed daily by 2 separate employees for money and when I cancelled the course 3 months in advance due to unforeseen circumstances they took me to county court for a 50% cancellation fee with our even offering to provide a different date!!!

Please avoid at all costs!! DO NOT EVEN PHONE THEM FOR A QUOTE AS THIS IS HOW THE HARRASMENT STARTED FOR ME!!!" - Thu, 02 Feb 2017 13:38:22 +0000

The course was focussed on style over substance with far too large a reliance on sound-bites and business phrases without offering any practical solutions beyond those that come naturally. There was very little engagement with external theories and practices and it felt like a sound-board for Paul Nix's ego. It has been a waste of my time and energy and I am entirely disappointed. There are numerous instances of bad grammar, spelling mistakes and sentences that make little or no sense. Many of the articles indicated seem to be offerings of what Paul has previously written ( claimed to be published) on various blogs including TES online and the Guardian blog but they are seemingly one individuals' opinion on the matter and do not appear to have been subjected to peer review in any way. There are some external links to outside sources which may prove to be useful; these however were provided but not referred to or engaged with in the training. This is the second time I have come away from a Pivotal training course feeling as though I've gained very little and have simply been a witness to one person's inflated ego of themself - this could have been so much better; so much more useful - what a shame.
