The course runs alongside maths and English functional skills, and aims to help you further your interest and career in the caring world. There is a heavy focus on employability skills, work place skills and career planning during this course.

teaching, workshops, drop-ins, tutorials..
Assessment methods – coursework, projects, presentations,
portfolios, performances
Learning – individual work, research, pair work, groups, work
placement, visits, experiments

• Progression to higher level courses
• The Edge tutorial programme
• Working alongside industry professionals
Entry 3 maths and English is preferred
You can move on to relevant Level 2 courses such as; Applied Science Level 2 Diploma, Health and Social Care Level 2 Diploma or Childcare Level 2 Diploma.
