BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
The BTEC Level 2 Diploma is designed to develop knowledge and
understanding about different health and social care sectors and
vocational aspects of care work. It prepares students for work in
the Care Sector or for study at a more advanced level.
What Subjects will I study?
The four mandatory units focus on Communication, Individual
Needs, Individual Rights and Ensuring Safe Environments within
Health and Social Care.
The four option units broaden the study of care and well-being and
include subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology, Creative and
Therapeutic Activities, different Health and Social Care Services
