Entry Requirements

There are no formal requirements but learners will be expected to have an interest in health and social care.

Duration

You will be on programme for twelve months. During this time you will be expected to attend weekly taught sessions in college.

Assessment

You will be assessed by the successful completion of assignments for each unit. Assignments are marked by the tutor and feedback given. You will submit a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding.

Qualification achieved

Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care.

This will be discussed at interview

Where next?

You may progress to a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) qualification if you are employed or working as a volunteer in a relevant health and social care setting.
