Health and Social Care BTEC Diploma Level 2

Summary:

This exciting new programme is the equivalent of four GCSEs at Grades A-C. It is a practical, work-related course which will introduce you to the health and social care area and give you a good basis for moving on to a more advanced work-related qualification.

Course Code: A3498 Course Length: One year Entry Requirements:

Three GCSEs at Grades D- or above or BTEC Introductory Diploma in Health and Social Care at Merit level.

Core Skills:

You will study six units - three core units that everyone takes and three more specialist units which look at a particular area in more depth.

Assessment:

Throughout the course, you will learn by completing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

Academic Progression:

After successful completion of the course you may progress to a higher level qualification at College such as the BTEC Diploam in Health and Social Care at Level 3

Career Progression:

After the course you could seek care-related work.
