How long is the course?
The Subsidiary Diploma is a one year course.On successfully achieving the Subsidiary Diploma you could progress to the second year to complete and achieve the Extended Diploma.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment methods include internally set practical-based assignments, written work or presentations.What does the course lead to?
Successful completion can lead to a range of job roles in mechanical and electrical/electronic or manufacturing engineering, or progression to a university level course either here at Vision West Notts or at a university.Entry requirements
Applicants are expected to hold four GCSEs at grade C or above as a minimum including maths, science and English; or a related VRQ/First Certificate/Diploma; or have experience in a relevant vocation such as engineering or services.What can I do next?
