This is a 60 credit qualification.
How long is the course?
Two days a week for one year. Please note, the work placement is undertaken additional to the two days in college.How will I be assessed?
Through unit assignments and a personal and professional development portfolio.What will I study?
The three mandatory units are:- Developing Effective Communication in Health and Social Care
- Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care
- Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care
The optional units include:
- Development through the Life Stages
- Safeguarding Adults and Promoting Independence
- Nutrition for Health and Social Care
- Exploring Personal and Professional Development in Health and Social Care (50 hours work experience)

Entry requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs A*- C in relevant subjects (English essential and maths desirable)A distinction grade in a relevant level 2 qualification
How much does it cost?
