You will study two units for the Entry Award Health and Social Care:- Health Needs
- Introduction to Creative and Leisure Activities for Children and Adults
You will also study units linked to the Award in Social Development and Certificate in Work Skills qualifications.
Furthermore you will be required to study Functional Skills in:
- Literacy
- Numeracy
- ICT
What does the course lead to?
Entry criteria to progress to level 1 is a pass at entry level (you must have achieved at least two units at level 1 on the entry programme) and an excellent attendance record.What can I go on to study?
You can go on to study the BTEC Level 1 in Health and Social Care (please note you must meet all the entry requirements for this programme).Entry requirements
Learners must be at least 16 years of age to start this course.You must provide two good references and be successful at interview.
