Personal Skills units: Preparing for an Interview. Interview
Skills. You also take six practical units: Developing Joinery
Skills. Developing Carpentry Skills. Developing Bricklaying
Skills. Developing Construction Painting Skills. Developing
Construction Decorating Skills. Developing Plumbing Skills. A
Course for Students who are looking for a broad ground in
construction related trades and for those who have a desire to
progress their education. Entry Requirements There are no formal
entry requirements but students will be expected to attend an
interview. Assessment Assessment consists of a combination of
hands-on experience and an externally set project. Progression
after Programme Successful students can take up apprenticeships
with local building companies or progress to the full time BTEC
Diploma Level 2 in Construction.
