This course consists of the following:
- What is assertiveness?
- Different types of behaviour
- Rights and responsibilities
- Assertiveness techniques
- Saying ‘No’
- Managing criticism
These are skills for life which will make it easier for you to:
- Recognise different kinds of behaviour
- Behave in an assertive way that shows self-respect and respect for others
- Express your own feelings and preferences
- Say ‘No’ when you want to
- Feel confident about your right to be you
- Progress in the workplace to more senior positions
