This course has been designed for operational and departmental managers working in the service sectors who are now required to interpret periodic performance reports and develop operational action plans to meet business objectives. The principle aim of this course is to improve commercial knowledge and decision making skills.
Delegates will gain a thorough understanding of the financial basics. They will be able to identify the main components of an operating budget, learn how to manage to a budget and how to achieve the bottom line. The course includes:
- Profit and loss basics
- Stock control
- Cash control
- Efficient record keeping
