LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN PUBLIC SERVICES
This course will prepare you for a career within a Public
Service organisation i.e. Armed Forces, Fire, Police or Ambulance
service, or for further study within a related area at University.
You will study a variety of theoretical and practical core topics
including the Impact of Government and Policy upon Public service
Organisations, Citizenship and Diversity, Physical Preparation and
Fitness for entry into the Public Service and Team work and
Leadership Skills.
You will have the opportunity to take part in a week long land and water based activities on a practical residential study visit.

How you will gain the qualification
To obtain the diploma, students must successfully complete core units and specialist units. Students will be assessed through a range of methods including written assignments, oral presentations, role-play and work related projects. Learning will be through continuous assessment.
What qualifications you need
Students will need to possess at least 5 GCSEs at Grades A*-C
(must include either English Language at C or above or Level 2
Agored English qualification)
Or
A Relevant Level 2 qualification to at least Merit standard plus GCSE English at grade C or pass at Agored Level 2 English
