Assessment Methods
Units are internally assessed and graded by lecturers. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded to all learners who successfully complete all units. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.
Course Update
The 90 Credit Diploma is the first year of the Extended Diploma. The 90 Credit Diploma is a qualification in its own right, equivalent to 1.5 A-Levels, and a few students choose to leave the college with this qualification. If you apply to complete the Extended Diploma, equivalent to 3 A-levels, you will be first enrolled on the 90 Credit Diploma. Progression to Year 2 of the Extended Diploma will be automatic provided your performance in Year 1 reaches a satisfactory standard.
