LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN TRAVEL & TOURISM

You will develop your skills in travel and tourism and study a variety of topics including: UK and International Travel and Tourism destinations, customer care in the travel and tourism industry and communicating with customers at home and overseas.

How you will gain the qualification

There will be continuous assessment throughout the course using written and practical assignments, which will include presentations and role-plays. Some units are externally assessed through written tests (maximum 25% of one course). Some assessment may also occur in real life working environments on work experience placements in external organisations.

What qualifications you need

At least 4 GCSEs at grades A* to D including Maths and English or successful completion of a relevant Level 1.

Where to next

You can seek employment within the travel and tourism industry or progress onto the Level 3 Travel & Tourism course if you have achieved high grades.
