Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications. What qualifications or experience do I need ? 2 AS Levels at grades A-D including this subject. E grades will be considered on an individual basis. GCSE Maths grade C or above. How will I be assessed ? Assessment will be through: * examinations in January and June according to the specification of the awarding Examining Board. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this subject, you will gain an A Level certificate in Psychology. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course, you may progress to a university course of your choosing according to the subjects and grades that you have achieved. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment. Will I need an interview ? Yes, before you can enrol. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Yes, you will be expected to purchase a set text book to use in class and for individual study. You will be advised as to which text book to purchase at the start of the course.
