Students will develop their skills within a variety of disciplines as well as taking part in live projects, competitions and the Arts Awards.What qualifications or skills do I require to study this course?
To study this course students will need four grade Ds at GCSE and above (one of which must be Art and Design related) and a portfolio of work including observational drawing.What does the course involve?
Students will be taught a variety of skills which will include:- Painting and drawing
- Printmaking
- Textiles
- Media – Film
- Photography
- Ceramics
- 3D making processes – Wood, Metal and plastics

What option will be open to me if I successfully complete the course? Upon successful completion of this course students can progress onto one of our level 3 courses or look for employment or an Apprenticeship within the creative industries.
