Functional Skills are a mandatory part of the course and you will
be required to study either Maths, English or ICT which will be
determined by your previous achievements in these subjects. These
qualifications are designed to enhance your employment
opportunities.

What does the course lead to?
BTEC National Diploma in SportEmployment in the sport industry in a wide variety of roles
Entry requirements
Level 1 BTEC in Public Services, or Sport and Leisure or four GCSEs at grade D/E (must include English and Maths).You should also exhibit a strong interest in leading and taking part in activities, sport and working with young people.
You will be required to undertake a CRB check that you will have to fund yourself and it is essential that you disclose any criminal convictions, reprimands or cautions at the time of application and interview, as this may influence your offer of a place.
