The course covers 13 units to achieve a total of 60 credits at Level 2. It is a newly developed course to meet the demands of the Leisure Industry and is delivered over one academic year

Entry Requirements

A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade D or above which include English and Mathematics or has completed a relevant Level 1 vocational programme with English and Mathematics Functional Skills. A supporting reference will also be requested.

Delivery & Assessment methods

A broad range of assessment methods are used including; practical, written, role plays and discussions. All evidence is gathered in a portfolio and presented to the exam board.

Progression

BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport or other sport related specific qualifications.
