Online Dementia Awareness

This e-learning dementia awareness training course is aimed at families, carers and healthcare professional who are in contact with older people. This dementia online course enables individuals to increase their awareness and understanding and provide better care for people living with dementia. The dementia awareness e-learning course will provide you with knowledge of the difficulties people with dementia face on a day-to-day basis, the stigma sufferers of dementia are labeled with, the challenging behavior that can surround this condition and ways to overcome them.

• Identify the importance of good communication in providing quality dementia care

Assessment:

The online dementia awareness training course is delivered via e-learning at a time and pace chosen by the candidate. Upon completion a certificate will be issued.
