This course is designed for professionals currently in employment who want to develop themselves regardless of their discipline or profession.
The course focuses on generic personal development that is relevant for anyone in a leadership or management role, rather than the traditional range of business-related disciplines. It emphasises the interdisciplinary nature of work-based situations, helping you to identify your learning needs and to critically evaluate current practice. As well as appealing to a broad range of occupations, the course offers an opportunity, via options, for individuals from the further and higher education sector to build on their postgraduate teaching qualification in order to gain a master's degree. Your previous qualification(s) will determine both the duration of the course and the number of units you will need to complete. These will in turn determine your specific ‘pathway’.
