Course Content
The course is made up of sixteen units of study of which eight are mandatory core and eight specialist units. Eight units are taken each year. The option units have been carefully selected by your tutors at the Northern Regional College to ensure that they meet the needs of local employers and to enable those students who wish to progress onto our degree course to attain maximum exemptions.

Course Aims
This course is designed to develop students’business knowledge and skills essential for their effective performance in administrative and management careers, in both the private and public sector. It also prepares them for selfemployment. It allows students to specialise in finance and accountancy and provides a solid foundation for further advanced study or professional body examinations.
