This award is aimed at people commencing or already in work or
training in the engineering industry and can support trainees in
the achievement of NVQ Level 3. There are two core units, a
principles unit, and three optional units appropriate to the
vocational disciplines of Fabrication and Welding or Manufacturing
Engineering. The level 3 course is delivered over two college years
