Description
This course is aimed at students who wish to discover and develop skills in IT. It is designed to develop their knowledge of contemporary applications of computing and digital media in current use.
Please note: Students will need headphones with a microphone for recording and listening in the digital media units.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications at Standard Grade General level, Intermediate 1 or National 4.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
This course is mainly assessed on a continuous basis. Assessments can be multiple choice or extended response. Coursework takes the form of essays, reports, presentations, case studies and practical projects. Most of the assessment of student work is undertaken by College staff.
PROGRESSION ROUTES / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion of the course, students can progress to Higher National Certificate courses in Interactive Media, Computing, Software Development and Technical Support.
