Description

This course aims to provide an introduction to the catering & hospitality industry. Students will learn the following:

  • Industry skills & techniques
  • Catering & hospitality principles
  • How to work effectively as part of a team
  • Health & safety in the workplace
  • Food preparation & cooking methods

Students who successfully complete the first 10 weeks will then attend a one-day course to gain the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. The course also provides credits towards full NVQ qualifications.
