Before you can enter this exciting world you must learn all the
basics. The course is designed to develop all the skills you will
require to enable you to become a Hair Stylist. You will experience
all aspects of practical Hairdressing and complete units required
by City and Guilds. You will get involved in the buzz of the
training salon with a regular clientele. There will be the
opportunity to show your artistic skills by entering College Hair
Competitions and to travel off Island to Hairdressing shows. In

The course is practically based with the necessary theory of
underpinning knowledge to ensure complete understanding of all
aspects of Hairdressing. You will have to learn basic rules of
chemistry, physics, anatomy, biology, physiology and
mathematics.
Course fees are inclusive of tuition, assessment and registration
fees. Additional fees will be required for salon uniform, relevant
kit and equipment - full details available during the
induction.
The length of the course is 35 weeks - 6hrs per week.
