Hairdressing Level 2 (Part Time)

Introduction

This programme will equip you with the core skills required in a hair salon.

What Will I Learn

This is a practical based course and you will be assessed on your competency to perform core salon services. The theory underpins the practical skills.

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will carry out a range of practical assessments within a commercial working environment. You will also collate theoretical evidence in the form of assignments, projects and tests.

Entry Requirements

You must have a high level of commitment to learning and aspirations to progress into the industry must be displayed as this a two year course

Additional Information

Students will need to purchase a Hair Kit, uniform and text books at a cost of approximately £250. During the course there will be the opportunity to attend workshops and exhibitions at an approximate cost of £100.

All our programmes are designed to allow you to progress from your appropriate entry level up to university, Foundation Degrees or the workplace. The direct progression from this programme would be NVQ Diploma in Barbering (Level 2) Level 3 Hairdressing,

Career Opportunities

This vocational qualification is designed to equip you with the skills required within the workplace. Positions that would be open to you will include Junior Stylist and Undergraduate Stylist
