What does the course include?

The aim of this programme is to provide you with a number of vocational qualifications that employers in the travel and tourism industry have endorsed and supported. Ultimately the aim is to give you every opportunity to have a career in this industry and gain employment.

The qualifications that are included in this programme are:

• Level 2 Certificate in Aviation operations on the ground. (Airports)

• Level 2 Award in developing skills for working in the hospitality, leisure and travel and tourism industry.

• Level 2 Award in the Introduction to the Passenger Shipping Industry.

• Level 2 Award for Resort Representative

• Level 2 Certificate Introduction to Cabin Crew.

• Level 2 Certificate in Travel Services.

Alongside these qualifications you will also be covering Functional skills to support your personal development.

What do I need to get on this course?

You need to be 16-18 years old for this course.

You will need a good command of literacy and numeracy working at Level 2 plus a genuine interest in working within the travel and tourism services/industry.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a variety of methods according to the qualifications included in the course.

Where does it lead?

On successful completion of the programme you can progress to our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism or gain employment.
