Who is this course for? This course is designed for those who are interested in a career in travel or wish to study travel & tourism at university. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Applicants will be required to have at least one of the following qualifications: * BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business or Travel and Tourism * NVQ2 in Travel Services * 4 GCSE's at Grade C in Academic subjects The ability to pass a screening in communications. What will I study ? This course will cover the following topics: * The Travel and Tourism Industry * The Business of Travel and Tourism * Marketing Travel and Tourism Products * Tourist Destinations * Customer Service * Working in the Travel and Tourism Industry How will I be assessed ? Assessment will be through: * continual assessment by assignment * two modules externally assessed What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Travel & Tourism. What can the course lead to ?
