EDEXCEL Diploma in Travel and Tourism Level 2

The BTEC Level 2 First Diploma provides those who have a passion for travel and tourism with an excellent platform into the different opportunities available. It gives students the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of, and develop skills in, the travel and tourism sector through practical, theory and work related projects. The course is comprised of 11 units based on the following: The UK Travel and Tourism Sector, UK Travel and Tourism Destinations, The Development of Travel and Tourism in the UK, International Travel and Tourism Destinations, Factors Affecting Worldwide Travel and Tourism, Travel and Tourism Business Enviroments, Delivering the Travel and Tourism Customer Experience, Marketing in Travel and Tourism, Airports and Airlines, Travel and Tourism Research Project Work-related Experience in Travel and Tourism. How will I be Taught? You will learn by completing projects, assignments and online tests that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Study of GCSE Maths and English will be encouraged to gain C grades or above to progress onto the Level 3 qualification or the Level 2 Diploma in Airline Cabin Crew How will I be Assessed? All units are graded with Pass, Merit or Distinction and are assessed by either written assignments or online tests. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded. What our students say?
