The controlled assignment is set by OCR and students will be encouraged to explore and express ideas through various methods of their choice. The research will be done in advance of the examination date. Course Content: A2 Level 1. Students choose their own area of study for their project. 2. Students conduct their personal study into an area of photography that is of particular interest to them. 3. The controlled test is set by OCR and students will be encouraged to explore and express ideas through various methods of their choice. The research will be done in advance of the examination sessions.
Assessment Method
Year one: Students must submit a research projects and a personal investigation on the work of a particular photographer, as well as producing a previously researched piece in a 5 - hour time controlled assignment Year two: Students will submit one major project and a personal study, and will be required to produce a piece of work previously researched within a 15 hour controlled test.
Progression
Students may progress onto degree level studies or go onto a further specialism.
