Additionally, you must posses the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualification in order to graduate. Glyndŵr University provides the opportunity for those without an ECDL to complete the award.
Course Content
BA (Hons) Social Work: Qualified Status
The course will take you through a detailed study of social work methods and processes and practice. This will be underpinned by study of theoretical, policy and legal contexts. You will undertake three practice placements, these are assessed learning opportunities, in which you will increasingly learn to work independently.

Entry Requirements & Applying
The entry requirements for this degree are 260-300 UCAS tariff points at GCE A Level or equivalent (for example successful completion of an access to higher education course), preferably in a relevant subject area such as Sociology or Psychology. Appropriate AS-Level and Level 3 Key Skills qualifications will also be taken into account. Relevant experience (employed, voluntary or personal) is also essential prior to applying for the course; we usually indicate a minimum of the equivalent of six months full time.
