Apply your skills and knowledge of sport and exercise science in this excellent progression opportunity – the Level 3 Diploma in Sport Development.
By working with current Level 2 and Level 3 sport students alongside our teachers, you apply your skills practically and gain relevant experience ahead of your career. You also have the chance to assist with assessments and complete a basic teaching qualification.
The qualification covers the core unit of sports development, plus an additional four units from the following list to allow for your individual development:

Apply your skills and knowledge of sport and exercise science in

Sport Development.
By working with current Level 2 and Level 3 sport students

- Development in sport
- Rules, regulations and officiating in sport
- Organising sports events
- Physical education and the care of children and young people
- Sport as a business
- Sports legacy development
Please note that you cannot repeat any units that you have
previosly completed as part of the Extended Diploma in Sport and
Exercise Science.
Gains include:
- continuing development of your knowledge of the sport and
recreation industry
- supporting in the teaching, learning and assessment of specified
units, including fitness testing, training and fitness, and
practical sport
- practical opportunities to demonstrate your teamwork and
leadership skills while working with Level 2 and Level 3
students
You need to have completed your Extended Diploma in Sport and
Exercise Science with a high level of attendance and
punctuality.
You also need to demonstrate a commitment to personal development
and a willingness to learn in a practical, proactive manner.
