This course will introduce you to the skills required to work in the construction industry. You will study a number of construction trades, gaining hands-on experience allowing progress in the area that interests you the most.

You will become knowledgeable about the whole construction process. This will give you an ideal grounding for general construction and how each trade contributes to the completion of a successful project. You will learn in our dedicated construction centre, where our workshops are fitted with the latest tools for you to get to grips with each trade. Tutors with a wealth of industry experience will help you to develop your learning and skills, so that you can become competent in a range of subjects. Throughout your course you will also have the opportunity to showcase your skills at a number of events and competitions, including Skills Build, and benefit from the fantastic links we have with local employers. Your learning will also be supported and extended through visits from construction companies and educational visits.

What next
