During the course you will develop a range of important industry-relevant skills, techniques and understanding required to progress in the creative media industry and for the production of video games. This course will guide you through all the stages of games production including researching, comparing and analysing current video games, story writing, character design and level design through to 2D and 3D animation, 3D modelling and games engines. You will also find out about the jobs and career paths within the industry. You will learn in the heart of Birmingham’s creative district, Digbeth and have the chance to get involved in exciting projects and work experience opportunities both within the college and for external organisations.
