This course provides you with the opportunity to develop a range of
useful skills. These skills will help you in other subjects as well
as in future jobs / University. A2 Psychology develops the range of
research methods psychologists use to find out about human nature.
You will then apply those methods to different topics. You will

Study? A2 Psychology covers modules including, criminological
psycholgy, child psychology, clinical psychology and issues and
debates within psychology. How will I be Taught? Learning on this
course will be varied. It is classroom based with weekly
assessments and use of Chionline for independent learning. Flipped
learning will be used weekly with the expectation that this is
fully completed and you are prepared for each lesson. You are
encouraged to participate in lessons as much as you can, as this
will aid your understanding of the subject. With 4.5 hours a week
of teaching time you are expected to do a minimum of 4.5 hours
extra work outside of lesson time. How will I be Assessed? Unit 3,
one written paper 1 hour 30 minutes and is 40% of total A2 marks,
20% of total A Level marks. Unit 4, one written paper 2 hours, and
is 60% of total A2 marks, 30% of total A Level marks. Questions
include short written answers, stimulus material and extended
