You will have a wide range of opportunities to develop your skills both practically in the workshop and theoretically in the classroom. You will not only meet the required standards but work towards exceeding them. Time will be given for you to develop your own style and techniques. Linked to the main qualification you will also study English and Maths working towards Level 2 and GCSE. The development of your personalised enterprise passport and enrichment activities fully enhance this course. How will I be Taught? This course runs for 2 and half days a week over 36 weeks. It is made up of 2 days of practical sessions and ½ day of theory. In addition to the main qualification you will study towards L2 Maths and English functional skills. How will I be Assessed? This course is assessed through a variety of methods according to the qualification including practical test pieces, written evidence, observations and a final craft project.
