Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practice of Assessment (Unit 1).
This is a single unit, which addresses the knowledge and understanding required for assessment. We recommend that you take this Award first, and we deliver it via a workbook, one-day teaching session and an assessment. You will not be able to assess people in the workplace with this qualification. However, it is the first step taken to become an assessor.

Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (Unit 1 & Unit 3).
This is a two-unit award, where one unit is the Knowledge unit (as above), and the other focuses upon your work in assessing candidates who are working with vocational qualifications, probably (but not exclusively) in an educational context. A teaching session builds on the workbook we supply, and we advise and support you as you collect your evidence to demonstrate your competence in the second unit.

Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (Unit 1 & Unit 2 & Unit 3).
This is a three unit award made up of the Knowledge unit, and the additional units from both the Workplace and the Vocational awards (all the units noted above). By working through the three individual Awards with us, you will automatically achieve the Certificate.
