The City & Guilds NVQ Certificate in Customer Service provides the learner with the opportunity to undertake a programme of learning that will develop their knowledge of essential work procedures, and offers optional units that will equip them with desirable skills such as team supervision and an understanding of how to deal with change in a business environment.

How you will gain the qualification

Induction 1 x 3 hour session to include Pre Course Questionnaire and enrolment.


Unit assessments – 2 hours per Unit. All delivered in the workplace.




This support will be available on a structured basis in your workplace and in college on a flexible basis.


Assessor telephone / email support will also be available.


What qualifications you need

You should be employed in a relevant job role which will allow you to achieve the qualification with the full support of your employer.

After completing the Level 2, you could progress to:


Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service or a customer service apprenticeship
