BTEC L2 SPECIALIST AWARD IN 3D DESIGN (JEWELLERY)

The BTEC specialist short course in 3D Design (Jewellery) is made up of specialist units and credits these will provide the skills to generate a portfolio of jewellery design and to realise these designs in actual manufacture. You will need to achieve a minimum of 10 credits for the Level 2 Award and a minimum of 30 credits for the Level 2 Certificate.

How you will gain the qualification

Each unit is assessed and you are required to achieve a pass grade in each unit to qualify for a qualification grade, and each unit has a specified assessment criteria. You will receive informal verbal feedback on a regular basis from the tutor to help improve your work for summative assessment at the end of the course when the final grade is awarded.

What qualifications you need

For mature learners (post 19) there are no entry requirements. For learners 14 -19 a general education equivalent to four GCSEs at grades D-G is desirable.
