Overview
About This Course:The HND course offers a comprehensive range of skills in jewellery design and manufacture. There is a range of jewellery specific and design units that are project and design-led. This allow candidates to develop specialism appropriate to their own interests and the current business environment
Students who successfully complete the HNC/D will achieve the HNC/D Jewellery.
What You Need:- Two Highers, one of which must be in Art & Design, OR
- An NC/NQ in an Art & Design subject.
- Examples of your work.

After The Course:Continuing study
After the HND you can further your studies with a BA (Hons) Jewellery Design at Birmingham University; BA (Hons) 3D Design (Ceramics, Glass, Jewellery) at Robert Gordon University; BA (Hons) Jewellery & Silversmithing at Edinburgh School of Art; BA (Hons) Silversmithing & Jewellery Design at Glasgow School of Art; BA (Hons) Top Up Degree in Jewellery at North Glasgow College.
How Long:Two years, starting in August. You can also leave after one year with a Higher National Certificate
