General information
This Level 4 qualification is for those who are teaching and wish to be awarded the Associate Teacher status. It is necessary to achieve this award before progressing on to the Diploma. Candidates are required to be teaching in an approved, suitable context for a minimum of 30 hours over the duration of the course. They must have a Level 3 qualification in their subject specialism.

Assignments, Personal Development Planner, Observations of Teaching and Teaching Study.
Entry requirements
You must have a Level 3 qualification in your subject specialism and 30 hours of teaching per year in a suitable context approved by the DIUS.
