General information
This programme is a practical work-related course. Candidates may use the qualification to gain employment into the construction industry following a variety of career pathways. The course is equivalent to two A levels and is therefore valued by employers and meets entry requirements for Further and Higher Education.

Teaching and assessment
Regular assignments and project work and externally assessed integrated assessment (IVA).
Entry requirements
4 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English, maths and science or BTEC Level 2 Certificate or Diploma
Plus compulsory attendance at an interview day with assessment in technical skills.
