National courses, the National Award in Construction (Building
Studies) will provide a route to Higher Education to follow Higher
National Certificate or Diploma Courses, Degree Courses, and a
large proportion of successful students choose to take advantage of
this opportunity to move into Higher Education. Additional
Information It is also possible to study separately, individual
subjects from the National programme. Each subject carries unit
value and can lead towards BTEC Certificates of Achievement which
can be used towards gaining the full Certificate or direct access
to Higher Education depending upon a candidate’s individual
ability.
