You will study a variety of units covering:- Prepare work area for tasks
- Identify materials and tools needed for painting and decorating
- Preparing ceilings and walls for decoration
- Identify and use different paints and painting techniques
- Wall papering skills
- Produce a variety of decorative effects for interior walls
- Storage of materials, tools and equipment safely
In addition to the above all learners in the construction area will complete an Introduction to Health & Safety unit
There will be a mixture of theory and practical training and a ‘hands on’ approach to learning.
