Description
This course develops knowledge and skills relating to the
Children and Young People’s Workforce (early learning and
childcare, children’s social care, learning development and support
services). Intermediate Apprentices may work in roles such as Early
Years Worker/Assistant, Care Worker/Assistant or Assistant Youth
Support and Community Worker.
The qualification will include the main aim which will be the Level
2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce,
(Intermediate Level), and functional skills in Maths, English and
ICT, Employee Rights and Responsibilities and Personal Learning and
Thinking Skills.
